So let's use the easiest way to install vlcFirstly, open up the terminal- Then give the command
ubuntu@ubuntu:~$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:videolan/stable-daily
- ubuntu@ubuntu:~$ sudo apt-get update
- ubuntu@ubuntu:~$ sudo apt-get install vlc
ubuntu@ubuntu:~$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:videolan/stable-daily
If everything works fine, then we'll surely install vlc on our ubuntu version.
To check whether it has been installed or not- Go to Ubuntu software center
- Then select the option installed
- Then select the option Sound & video
- You can see that vlc has installed
